North Shore Stops

Lori Dotterweich, owner of Tails by the Lake in Squaw Valley, shared some of her favorite hiking and swimming stops for dogs in North Shore:

Shirley Canyon, Squaw Valley – beautiful waterfalls and epic views. Dogs can ride the tram down for free.

Tahoe Rim Trail – Trail around the lake but our favorite spot is right off of Hwy 267 – gorgeous views of the lake.

Loch Leven – Rainbow Lodge Exit off 80. Gorgeous rocks and great views – hike with your pup up to the lake – about 2 miles.

Best Dog Beaches – Hidden Beach and Chimney Beach

If you´re in Tahoe September 17-18, 2005, plan to check out Art Bark Fest, organized by Tails by the Lake. Email info@tailsbythelake or look for details in FETCH´s What´s Happening calendar.
