A lovely 1.5 mile walk through the Presidio of San Francisco on flat trail or pavement totally protected from cars. Goes past scenic natural habitats (one can occasionally see quail, coyotes, racoons and skunk) leading to Mountain Lake, where dogs can swim (discouraged on weekends) then to open lawns and a small dog park which always has lots of visitors. A favorite with professional dog walkers.
