About Jon

Practice

Although Jon went to Law School to try crimes against children, somewhere along that noble path, he strayed. It might have been the law school debt, or just because he discovered a particular aptitude and fondness for the tax code. Regardless of the reason, he took a job as an associate at Tonkon Torp, where he spent three years drafting hundreds of legal memos and agreements. After staring at a computer screen for three years, and more than a couple changes in eye prescription, Jon moved on to a different type of practice, one where he worked more closely with his clients.

Jon handles a variety of business and estate matters. His cases are varied, yet rewarding, from stopping elder fraud to drafting a will for new parents; from starting a business, to selling that business. He has experience in business law, federal and state tax law and estate planning.
